Cuyahoga County - Operation Rise and Shine

According to a press release issued by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office,
over twenty adults and one juvenile were charged and indicted in an investigation labeled, 'Operation Rise and Shine".

Over twenty law enforcement partners of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force participated in the investigation into online child exploitation.

According the the release, Operation Rise and Shine targeted traders of child pornography across the State of Ohio with the aid of new technology.

Over thirty search warrants were executed on homes in nineteen communities throughout Cuyahoga County. Officers seized over 2,000 items of evidentiary value.
